El procés d’avaluació d’un pla d’estudis per a la seva renovació es desenvolupa seguint els passos següents: 

Sol·licitud 

És responsabilitat de cada institució d'ensenyament superior (IES) sol·licitar la renovació de plans d’estudis perquè puguin ser aprovats amb temps suficient. Per sol·licitar la renovació, les institucions d'ensenyament superior han de trametre a l'AQUA una sol·licitud amb l’autoinforme i la memòria actualitzada del pla d’estudis que es vol avaluar per correu electrònic (info@aqua.ad).
