On March 21, we participated in the first General Assembly of 2024 of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). During this meeting, issues related to higher education were discussed, including the presentation of the Annual Report 2023, budgets, and minutes from the previous General Assembly held on May 31, 2023, for their approval. Additionally, at the General Assembly, there was an opportunity to vote on the list of nominated candidates for the 2024 Board Elections, aiming to fill up to seven vacant positions.

The participation of AQUA in this decision-making process reflects our commitment to contributing to the advancement of quality assurance in higher education. Given the central purpose and role of INQAAHE in promoting and advancing excellence in higher education through the support of an active international community of quality assurance agencies, our relationship with INQAAHE is fundamental. INQAAHE focuses on the development of the theory and practice of quality assurance, the exchange and understanding of the policies and actions of its members, and the promotion of quality assurance for the benefit of higher education, institutions, students, and society at large.
