Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN) members meeting
23-05-2024

Yesterday, the Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN) members' meeting was held, led by AQUA's director, Dr. Isaac Galobardes. The meeting covered several important topics:

Authors Cath Ellis and Kane Murdoch presented their latest paper: "The educational integrity enforcement pyramid: a new framework for challenging and responding to student cheating." This document proposes a framework for higher education institutions to more effectively address academic misconduct among students.

Dr. Jason Stephens shared the latest advancements in research conducted by the International Center for Academic Integrity. Notably, they are working on validating a survey in multiple languages for students and faculty that analyzes attitudes and behaviors regarding academic misconduct.

Finally, updates on the criteria for GAIN membership were discussed, and the next meeting was scheduled for October 2, 2024.
