AQUA’s director, Dr Isaac Galobardes, has attended the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) Member Forum, which took place from 18 to 19 April in Hanover, Germany. The Forum program addressed the topic “Quality Assurance and Change” through plenary sessions and contributions from members. The working sessions also offered the opportunity to update and discuss ENQA’s activities and the current evolution of quality assurance in Europe. Attendance at this event represents an opportunity to exchange innovative ideas, good practices, and strategies in the field of higher education. 

ENQA is an association that brings together the quality agencies of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) under the same umbrella. The association promotes European cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education and disseminates information and criteria of excellence among its members and stakeholders to develop and share good practices and foster quality assurance. AQUA has been an affiliate member of ENQA since 2012 and is currently working on becoming a full member of this association. Once this process has been completed, AQUA will be able to register for the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), demonstrating its compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
