On April 29th, AQUA began the process of external evaluation by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) to become a full member of this association. This process, aimed at assessing AQUA's compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), will culminate in mid-2025 after the evaluation of the Agency's self-assessment report, visits to its offices, and interviews with its team and stakeholders in Andorra's higher education system. 

In the event of receiving a favorable evaluation, AQUA will also be included in The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). This register ensures compliance of university quality agencies with high standards of transparency, independence, and quality of higher education assessment processes. Registration with EQAR will also contribute to the trust of the educational community, institutions, and society in the quality of Andorran higher education. Likewise, it will positively influence student and faculty mobility and the recognition of degrees, which are fundamental pillars of the Bologna Process.
